Hi all. I promise that I have some real posts ready to go live later this week. It has been a crazy couple of weeks and I want to share with you some of the news.
First, I am opening up some new spots for piano lessons. I know, I know. I should have done this months ago but life has a way of working the way it is supposed to work. There are spots for private and partner lessons. I also have some spots open for electronic lessons (via Skype, Oovoo, or FaceTime). Many of the slots for these lessons will be held on Monday and Tuesday. I do have a few morning spots on Wednesday and Thursday that I am trying to fill. Spread the word.
Recreational Music Making groups will be starting up in August. I am still working on securing a feasible site. So, stay tuned for that. I will open up slots based on the number of people to sign up. For the RMM groups, I need at least 4 to make it workable. These groups will likely be held in the late morning or early afternoon, unless I get a significant amount of requests for other times. These groups are a lot of fun. So spread the word.
Finally, I have signed on as a contract piano teacher with Innovative Piano. I am very excited about this prospect. Innovative Piano is a company that has teachers throughout the United States that offer ABA style piano lessons for students with special needs. It is a different approach to lessons and I would love for you to recommend students through this website. Just tell them to say I sent you. I am the only teacher thus far in Idaho.
For every referral I get from you that results in a new client for me, I will let you decide on a piece of music and I will record it and feature it on the blog. How is that for an incentive? Please share away!
